Practice Nurse Required - Cannington Family Doctors We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse on a full‑time basis at our Cannington Family Doctors Practice, located in Beckenham. Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm The Role We are looking for a Nurse with long‑term goals working in a general practice with a passion for practice nursing. You will be caring, compassionate and empathetic in your approach to people. Patient care and high‑level communication are at the forefront of your ethos. You are skilled at remaining calm in highly tense situations and have the ability to resolve matters pragmatically. You are looking for work‑life balance and a team of friendly and supportive nurses to work with. Our practice provides a friendly, flexible work environment with ongoing training support and opportunity for career development. The patients are loyal, friendly and have been coming to the clinic for many years. You are required to provide quality care to a diverse mix of patients through: General Practice Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans & Health Assessments ECG's & Spirometry Wound care/dressing Daily co‑ordination of the treatment room, stock control and medical equipment maintenance Implementing and practising infection control Identifying & contributing to the development of our patient educational needs Requirements: Current unrestricted Nurses Registration with AHPRA Current CPR certification Experience as a Practice Nurse or a similar role Excellent interpersonal & communication skills Proficiency with IT systems & their use Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Caring & collaborative approach to patient care Proven multi‑tasking, problem‑solving and time‑management skills Salary: Discussed at time of interview Apply now via Seekonly Please be advised that only successful candidates will be contacted.
