Afternoon Shift Transport Supervisor Minchinbury NSW The Opportunity Were hiring a Transport Supervisor to join our team at Minchinbury NSW. Reporting to the Operations Manager youll play a pivotal role in facilitating grocery deliveries across the Sydney basin ensuring that Toll drivers and operations staff surpass standards and KPIs. This role is a full-time role on fixed term contract of 12 months 4pm 4am 4 days on / 4 days off The Transport Supervisor will ensure that tasks are completed in the most efficient manner with agreed standards in operational procedures including strong emphasis on safety requirements regularly communicating with drivers and stakeholders compliance and managing staff to ensure business objectives are achieved in a safe and cost-effective way. A day in the life of a Transport Supervisor at Toll Group: Plan and manage labour resources to meet the day-to-day service level targets and exceed customer expectations. Coordinate the dispatch of trucks drivers and shipments to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups. Champion safety and ensure all drivers and operational staff follow OHS and site safety requirements. Promote a customer first mindset and ensure the daily operation is maximising profitability by linking management goals with practical means of achievement. Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers customers and internal teams. Address any issues or delays promptly to minimise disruptions. Ensure services are monitored for on-time delivery and proactively collaborate with the customer to meet targeted delivery windows. What Youll Need to Succeed: Previous experience within a similar role. A positive attitude and appetite to learn. Demonstrated experience with Operations CoR Fatigue Management desirable but not essential. An analytical mind-set strong ability to problem solve. Exceptional communication skills written and verbal. Computer literacy skills MS Office Suite: Word Excel and Outlook. High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines within a time-pressured environment.
