Join Lindsay Australia Ltd as a Mechanical Supervisor (afternoon shift) based in Erskine Park, Sydney. You will oversee repairs, mentor technicians, and ensure fleet maintenance meets the highest standards starting at 2:00 pm. The Opportunity Lindsay Transport is Australia’s largest fresh produce transporter. In this role you’ll step into a leadership position where your expertise drives safety, reliability and performance. Responsibilities Supervise inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair across a variety of fleet vehicles (prime movers, rigids, trailers). Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system faults. Plan, prioritise and allocate daily tasks to mechanics and service technicians. Maintain workshop tools, equipment and inventory of spare parts. Ensure accurate completion of maintenance and repair documentation. Lead, mentor and supervise workshop employees. Demonstrate safe work practices and promote a safe work culture. Qualifications Advanced mechanical knowledge coupled with a Mechanical Trade Qualification. Electrical experience desirable. Minimum of HR and FL licence essential. Experience leading mechanical teams, coordinating daily activities, ensuring safe, efficient work. Ability to motivate, mentor and develop team members.
