Our client has established itself as a leader in their industry, demonstrating strong growth over a long history of delivering exceptional services. The role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work alongside a high-performing and supportive team. This position is well-suited to someone who is looking to step up into a Senior/2IC role within a national trusts team. The Challenge Reporting to the National Manager, your responsibilities will involve but not be limited to: Lead day-to-day trust accounting workflow, providing guidance and mentoring to team members. Oversee and approve trust receipts, transfers, payments, PEXA settlements, and controlled money transactions in line with LPUL and firm policies. Manage complex matters including multi-party settlements, cross-jurisdictional transactions, and high-value client dealings. Maintain financial accuracy through trust-to-office transfers, reconciliations, and statutory record keeping. Coordinate trust account audits and prepare required regulatory reports and lodgements. Build strong relationships with partners, practice groups, and corporate services, offering clear advice on trust processes. Deliver training and support to staff, promoting consistent best-practice trust accounting across the firm.
