Join to apply for the LABOURER role at CivilandScape We are seeking an experienced general labourer with a background in landscaping and civil work to support a range of projects across Sydney’s inner city and outer suburbs, from high‑end residential to high‑rise commercial developments. Prerequisites Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Sound understanding of WHSE and adherence to NSW WHSE practices Current White Card (NSW) Role Professional appearance and etiquette when liaising with clients and the public Efficient, diligent, and capable of working independently Strong communication skills with team and clients Daily and weekly duties include: Assist foreman, tradesmen, and colleagues with day‑to‑day tasks Clean work areas, remove debris, and maintain construction sites Build walkways, patios, walls, fences, decks, posts, etc. Dig ditches or trenches and perform land clearing Plant and maintain garden beds and lawns Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment for landscaping projects Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and manual handling Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including inspections, lubricating, and cleaning Operate various tools such as chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measuring equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc. Role Offer Working hours: generally 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime and Saturday shifts as required Annual salary commensurate with experience Seniority Level Mid‑Senior Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Other Industry Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at CivilandScape by 2×.
