Our Values Support the right of the individual and their carers to make informed choices Treat all staff with dignity and respect Support independence and quality of life and ensure dignity, privacy and confidentiality are respected at all times Deliver services in a non-discriminatory, accountable and responsive manner The Role Joining our team as a Occupational Therapist, you will report to the Clinical Services Manager (Occupational Therapist) and work within our allied health team consisting of a Senior Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapists to provide services to a diverse range of clients, including seniors, with the potential to provide brokered services to external stakeholders. Additionally, you will: Provide assessments and therapy services to support community access, enhance independence in activities of daily living, self-care, provision of assistive equipment and home modifications, cognitive assessment and support strategies, fine motor and upper limb skills within the home and community settings. Ongoing evaluation and review of client's progress in line with their personal goals and plans Develop and deliver therapy programs Ensure appropriate consultation with relevant stakeholders Maintain clinical records, client documentation and provide information and report on services delivered Provide training to relevant staff regarding the use of mobility aids and equipment when required The successful applicant will report to the Clinical Services Manager/ Occupational Therapist and be supported with supervision and clinical guidance.
