Early Childhood Educator - Certificate III or Diploma (Preschool role) Cabarita-Mortlake Kindergarten – Cabarita NSW Pre-School Educator (Community Based) - Commencing January 27th, 2026 Casual position with guaranteed hours - 3 days per week (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) Cabarita-Mortlake Kindergarten is a 42-place community-based pre-school which prides itself on providing quality pre‑school services for 3‑5 year olds in Concord, Cabarita, and the surrounding areas in the inner west of Sydney. We operate during NSW school terms and have a strong community focus. We are seeking an Early Childhood Certificate III or Diploma trained Educator to join our supportive and experienced team. You will be an enthusiastic and energetic individual who can both display initiative and work well as part of a collaborative teaching team. We are looking for a child‑focused, caring person with a professional approach and a commitment to ensuring child safety and wellbeing. This casual role offers guaranteed hours for 3 days per week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, working 3.5 hour shifts from 10:45 am – 2:30 pm during the 2026 NSW school terms. There may also be an opportunity to work some additional hours or days on occasion. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate: They hold an ACECQA approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care level qualification or higher (trainees or those working towards their qualification will be considered) A current valid Employee Working with Children Check and commitment to Child‑safe practices ACECQA approved Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain) Current ACECQA approved first aid qualification, including anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma management training (or willingness to obtain) Willingness to consent to any prohibited persons or Police Checks required by regulatory and child safety bodies A working knowledge of the EYLF , NQS , and National Regulations Previous experience as an early childhood educator, delivering a high‑quality play‑based educational program for 3‑5 year olds.
