St Louis Care is made up of four specialist service areas: St Louis Home Care – Government‑approved and private support at home care provider St Louis Allied Health – Covering both Metro and Fly in Fly Out (FIFO) allied health services supporting South Australian communities St Louis Home Care is seeking compassionate Community Care Workers to support older people in living independently at home. Based in Victor Harbor (servicing the surrounding suburbs), this role involves personal care, domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation), social support and travel assistance. We welcome both qualified applicants (Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support) and those eager to learn on the job. Greek speakers are encouraged to apply. We welcome students who want to start working in the aged care field (Cert III in Aged Care or Individual Support) and people who have previously worked as: Carer, Community, Disability, Support, Aged Care, Social Support, Health, Nursing, Enrolled Nurses, or related fields. Responsibilities Genuine care and respect for elderly clients Previous experience in similar roles (cleaning, laundry) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is desirable but not required National Police Clearance (no older than 2 years) A well‑maintained vehicle with comprehensive insurance Current Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum of P2’s) Ongoing training and support Buddy shifts with a more experienced colleague, facilitating peer learning and mentorship Friendly and supportive team culture Shifts available across 7 days Qualifications Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (desirable but not required) National Police Clearance (no older than 2 years) Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum P2) Work vehicle with insurance Apply Now If you are excited about this opportunity, we would love to hear from you Please submit your resume and cover letter, detailing your relevant experience and providing two workplace referees.
