Communications Coordinator Full time – Non‑Teaching Professionals / Managers Waverley Christian College is a forward‑thinking, culturally diverse Christian co‑educational school from Kinder to Year 12, with campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South. With over 2400 students and 400 staff across both campuses, the College is seeking a full‑time, creative and strategic Communications Coordinator for a 12‑month parental‑leave replacement contract commencing in February 2026. This role leads the development and delivery of communications, publications and marketing. The incumbent will coordinate a wide range of projects, from producing the College magazine and managing the website and social media presence, to leading marketing initiatives and supporting alumni communications. Exceptional graphic design skills, a strong understanding of branding and digital communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with creativity, initiative and confidence are essential. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement communication strategies that reflect the College’s mission and values.• Produce high‑quality visual and written content for print and digital media.• Manage the College website, social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Messenger, and optionally TikTok) and related marketing campaigns.• Coordinate cross‑departmental projects and collaborate with staff, parents and students.• Ensure all communications comply with child safety and privacy policies. Candidate Profile Strong experience in graphic design and desktop publishing, including Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Proven social media management skills across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Messenger, optional TikTok). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging staff, students and parents. Highly motivated and proactive, with strong problem‑solving abilities. Administrative proficiency and advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Team‑player who enjoys collaboration.
