Our Club is steeped in tradition, and is nestled in a beautiful bushland setting with sweeping views to the ocean. It is a special place, our home by the sea. Our Club offers a range of sports and member services, including a premium 18 hole golf course, tennis, bowls and croquet. Our dining offer includes casual and formal dining options, and our multiple function spaces deliver the most exquisite special events. About the role In this role you will bring our service philosophy to life. We are seeking a customer focused, hands on passionate hospitality professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our bar and club functions. You will have extensive experience working in premiums hospitality venues and have experience in a supervisory role. In this role you will be responsible for the following: Supervision and guidance of bar and function staff, ensuring they understand their roles, and can deliver a 5 star member experience. Coffee is a big part of our operation and Barista training and Knowledge is an advantage Preparation and presentation of drinks with precision and artistry, adhering to the club's recipes and standards. Maintaining our high standards of beverage quality, taste, and presentation. Assist the Bar Manager in the preparation of rosters, labour control, staff training and team performance. Assist in the organisation and planning of bar and function operations Adhering to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment. About You To be successful in this position you will: Have at least 2 years’ experience in food and beverage operations in a well regarded hospitality environment, and will have had responsibility for small teams. Have exceptional people skills and at the same time will have strong attention to details – you know the little things make a difference. Be passionate about the beverage industry and are always building your knowledge base. Have a positive attitude and be able to work within a dynamic environment Be very flexible and able to work a variety of hours which includes evenings and weekends based on activity levels.
