Part‑Time (0.81 FTE) Secondary School Applied Technologies Teacher Children, family and Community - Year 11 & 12 We are seeking an outstanding, passionate, and inspiring Applied Technologies Teacher with experience and qualifications in teaching these subjects. The successful applicant must have: relevant qualifications and experience, be approachable, and relate well to students, parents and fellow staff members experience in implementing the curriculum a passion for teaching the above Technologies to Secondary School students in an engaging and relevant way Essential Knowledge and Experience: You will have: an active Christian faith exemplary teaching support practice, with qualifications and experience in teaching these subjects developed a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all the students that you teach. comprehensive knowledge of current educational needs and achievement standards a commitment to supporting College policies and procedures relating to Classroom and Behaviour Management. a solid understanding of technology and can confidently integrate it into your teaching. Personal Qualities: You are passionate about living out your Christian faith, and you are prepared to model, uphold, and support the Ethos of the College and its Core Values. You are deeply relational, friendly and open. You are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that your students are always well‑supported. You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, that can be utilised effectively with staff, students, and parents. You can demonstrate effective planning, organisational and time‑management skills. Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience related to the teaching responsibility required by the position. Current Western Australia Australian Teachers Registration Board Certificate of Registration (TRBWA). Current Working With Children Card. Current Police Clearance (issued in the last 3 months) Additional Requirements: The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principals' Child Safe Modules if they have not already done so.
