Facilities Trades Assistant page is loaded## Facilities Trades Assistantlocations: Australia | CQ | Rockhampton Branchtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR **Company :**Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd**What you’ll be doing**We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Trades Assistant to join our team in Rockhampton to keep our site safe, well-maintained and operating to the highest standards.This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.As a Facilities Trades Assistant at Hastings Deering, you will:* **Drive safety and quality** - ensure compliance of safety procedures and high-level quality & contamination control.* **Lead inspections and audits** - conduct regular inspections and audits within the business centre.* **Maintain a world-class facility** – keep facilities in top condition through general yard cleaning, yard maintenance, cleaning of gutters, painting of offices and floors, handyman work to facility & wash bay duties.* **Collaborate with contractors** - engage and work alongside site contractors ensuring safety is not compromised.* **Deliver excellence** - take all reasonable steps to ensure that assigned tasks are free of faulty workmanship assuring quality in the finished product.* **Support workshop operations** – maintain cleanliness of workshop and parts departments to ensure contamination control compliance.Hastings Deering is proud to be one of the top 5 Caterpillar dealerships globally.
