Manage diamond sourcing & range planning Jewellery experience not required A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Buyer to join a long-established, Australian-owned retail business headquartered in Brisbane. This is a trusted and respected brand with a proud heritage in luxury retail, known for its commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer experience. In this newly created role, you’ll be responsible for managing the buying process across the diamond category, from supplier relationships and product selection to commercial planning and range development. You’ll partner closely with the Merchandise and Retail teams to ensure the product offering aligns with market trends, customer preferences, and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage sourcing, purchasing, and range planning across diamond and luxury product categories Build and maintain strong supplier and vendor relationships Analyse sales performance and market trends to inform buying decisions Collaborate with internal teams to plan seasonal assortments and promotional strategies Ensure all products meet the brand’s high quality and ethical standards About You Proven experience in a retail buying role, category background is flexible Strong commercial acumen and a strategic approach to product selection and pricing Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills Analytical mindset with a keen eye for product detail Interest in luxury or premium products is advantageous but not essential If you’re an experienced Buyer looking to take on a unique and rewarding opportunity within a respected Australian heritage brand, we’d love to hear from you.
