Principal Spatial Analyst

As a Principal Spatial Analyst, you will lead spatial capability within the team, transforming geospatial data into actionable insights that inform decision‑making on key digital and data policy areas. Your expertise will drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring high‑quality outputs under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities Interpret complex geographical datasets to support planning and policy development. Lead GIS technology use, including Esri’s ArcGIS Suite, and maintain data governance standards. Deliver mapping and data requests, prepare reports, and provide technical advice. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and mentor team members. Required Experience Proven experience in spatial technologies, advanced spatial analysis, and map‑making. Strong knowledge of Esri’s ArcGIS Suite and database management. Experience in land use planning and data governance is highly desirable. Experience/knowledge of Python or R for geospatial analysis and SQL.
