The Role: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at Stanbrokes meat processing facility. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our high standards of food safety, product quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA systems within the food industry, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Your Key Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to Stanbroke’s Quality Policy and all relevant regulatory requirements. Lead and support quality assurance programs across the site, including direction of laboratory operations. Stay up to date with regulatory manuals, standards, and industry requirements. Work closely with QA staff, production teams, lab personnel, and management to maintain product integrity. Communicate effectively with government departments (DAFF), Aus-Meat, and customers on quality-related matters. Coordinate and take part in both internal and external audits of quality systems. Who We are looking For: You have solid experience in QA systems and technical roles within the meat or food industry, including HACCP. You have a strong understanding of customer audit processes and regulatory compliance. You are are skilled in developing and maintaining quality management systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You have excellent communicator with AUS-MEAT qualifications (Beef Specification Certification highly regarded).
