WHERE ARE WE
Our commercial kitchen is located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, on the corner of Clarence St and King St. There is great access to public transport (trains, buses and tramlines).
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Food Production employee, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, responsible for ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will prepare high-quality ingredients, craft a variety of delicious products, and maintain a clean and organised workspace. This role requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
FOOD PREPARATION:
Assemble a variety of products according to our recipes, ensuring quality and consistency. Follow specific recipes to layer ingredients thoughtfully for optimal taste and presentation. Pay attention to ingredient ratios to maintain consistency. Collaborate with the team to guarantee that only high-quality products are delivered to our customers. Prepare ingredients for the day's production requirements. QUALITY CONTROL:
Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality before use. Ensure that all prepared items meet company standards for taste and presentation. CLEANING:
Keep workstations clean and organised throughout the shift, adhering to food safety regulations. Regularly sanitise surfaces, tools, and equipment. General kitchen cleaning at the end of shifts. KEY TRAITS THAT WILL HELP YOU SHINE:
Ability to follow recipes accurately and ensure high-quality standards. Previous experience in a kitchen or food prep role is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
