Job no: JR Work type: PermanentLocation: Hollywood Private HospitalCategories: Administration/Support Services About the Role In this position you will work in a team that is responsible for the efficient operation of the stores section of the Supply Department. You will receive, stores and distribute medical and general stores throughout the hospital. You will be required to unload vehicles, unpack cartons, check stock and pick, pack and deliver as directed to various departments in the hospital. All quickly and with a high degree of accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of key departments/wards in regard to ensuring adequate stock is available and maintained. This is a hands on, demanding & responsible position. Working hours are usually Monday-Friday – flexibility of start & finish times is important. About You Experience working in a warehouse/stores including using computerised stock control system. Proven ability to be highly accurate in a busy stores environment A positive “can do” attitude with ability to take responsibility. Demonstrated good organisational and time management skills. Ability to work flexible hours. Proven ability to liaise, negotiate and problem solve with various stakeholders. Previous experience in a medical/hospital environment Qualification in Purchasing or SAP. Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $30.49 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. What’s in it for you?
