ODCR Manager, Continuity

ING Australia ODCR Manager – Continuity & Resilience ING Australia’s ODCR team is looking to hire an ODCR Manager – Continuity & Resilience based at our Sydney office. As the ODCR Manager – Continuity & Resilience, you’ll play a key role in strengthening ING Australia’s ability to respond to and recover from disruptive events. You’ll lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our Continuity & Resilience Framework, working closely with senior stakeholders across business, technology, and risk functions. We’re looking for a technically capable and proactive individual with strong stakeholder engagement skills, a deep understanding of operational resilience, and the ability to drive meaningful change. What you’ll do Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of ING’s Continuity & Resilience Framework, including Business Continuity Plans and Crisis Management Plans. Facilitate business impact analyses, threat assessments, and identification of recovery capability gaps. Provide assurance and challenge on recovery strategies and plans, including those of third parties. Coordinate testing, training, and awareness programs across the bank. Deliver reporting to senior governance forums including RACC and BRC. Contribute to uplift initiatives, ad‑hoc projects, and group‑wide working groups. What we’re looking for Tertiary qualification in business, finance, legal, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. 8+ years’ experience in financial services, with at least 3 years in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, or Information Risk Management. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g. CPS 230), risk management principles, and continuity planning. Technically savvy with strong MS Office skills; experience with Tableau, SAS, or SQL is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
