About the Role: Senior Accountant (With a Clear Pathway to Manager) This role is crafted for a high-performing Senior Accountant who is already demonstrating the behaviours, ownership, and initiative of someone on the cusp of leadership. You’ll work closely with our leadership team, take on increasing responsibility, and gradually transition into managing people and workflows as you grow. In this role, you will: Take ownership of a portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality compliance and advisory work. Review work for juniors and intermediates, helping them learn and grow. Support workflow management and job allocation, building the foundations of people leadership. Build strong, trusted relationships with clients who value proactive communication. Play an active role in improving processes, systems, and team efficiency. Progress toward a Business Services Manager role with structured guidance and support. What You’ll Bring 4–6+ years’ experience in business services / tax and compliance within a public practice accounting firm. Strong technical skills in tax, compliance, and emerging advisory work. Experience guiding junior staff or acting as a 'go‑to' person in your team. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills. Ambition to lead, with a proactive mindset and commitment to growth. A calm, accountable approach that aligns with our values. This role is suited to candidates from a business services / tax and advisory background rather than audit or assurance-focused roles.
