Inspire Ability, based in Warners Bay and Rathmines, is a multidisciplinary therapy support service for children and young people aged 2-25. We believe that everyone learns best when they are having fun, so we approach therapy with a creative mindset. We currently offer occupational and speech therapy to our amazing clients by combining traditional therapy with innovative approaches using music, singing, drama, dance and art. We train our staff in the use of these creative elements and encourage our team to use their own creative interests to connect and engage with clients. What we are looking for In a nutshell… someone very very special We would love to have a psychologist who is PASSIONATE about working creatively with clients, is neurodiverse affirming and loves to come alongside families with a strength based focus. What we do is unique and inspiring so we would love someone who loves to learn and to share knowledge with the rest of the team It would be such an honour to welcome a passionate Clinical or Registered Psychologist to our team in a part‑time or full‑time capacity. At present, we have a 9 day fortnight opening, but we can increase this to full time, or reduce this to 3‑4 days per week, depending on the applicant. Ask any of our staff, we are as flexible as we possible can be to help staff work and live at their best. It would involve working closely with children and their families on a weekly or fortnightly basis and across environments including clinic, home, community and school settings. It's important that you are experienced in working with children and young people and that you are passionate about collaboratively working alongside other health professionals. We would like our psychology team to grow over time and envision that this position would suit someone with a desire to lead and supervise others in the future. You can look forward to: Regular opportunities for shadowing other therapists to learn from them A gradual build up of clients, starting slowly to give you time to learn and grow Daily support with your caseload from our experienced therapy team, therapy aids and admin An excellent remuneration package – please contact us for further details Flexibility with hours and option for school holidays off Dedicated fortnightly supervision with the Company Director External clinical supervision An annual CPD budget of $250/day worked with the option to apply for further funds ($1250 for a 5 day a week position) A specially designed program of both in house and outsourced training to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to thrive in the position An annual Well‑being Support budget of $150 per day worked to care for your personal mental and physical well‑being through funding sessions with a range of health professionals including physio, dietitian, psychologist, naturopath, exercise physiologist or counsellor ($750 for a 5 day a week position) An amazing clinic filled with fantastic resources and a generous budget for desired therapeutic resources Unused sick leave can be paid out at the end of the calendar year in a lump sum, if desired. Your own iPad Filled with amazing apps to support your learning and efficiency as well as session planning To Be Eligible for this role Full registration with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a psychologist or clinical psychologist Eligibility for Medicare Provider registration A current Working with Children Check 2+ years experience working with children and adolescents as a psychologist (5‑18yrs), with specific experience completing psychological assessments, therapy interventions, and treatment planning for developmental, behavioural, or mental health concerns Bachelor's degree in Psychology or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa If this sounds like you please apply via the seek advertisement or email your cover letter and resume to Jasmine, the managing director of Inspire Ability at *******@inspireability.com.au or give her a call on ***.
