About the Venue: The Commercial Hotel is a well-established hotel recently renovated in Wallerawang. Our hotel serves both visitors and locals with excellent food, drinks, accommodation and hospitality. Role Overview: We're looking for a motivated and experienced Hospitality Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across the bar, bottle shop, bistro and accommodation. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel, while maintaining the highest levels of customer service, compliance, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage the bottleshop & bar, while assisting with accommodation and bistro services where required. Oversee staff training, and performance management. Ensure the venue is compliant with all relevant licensing, health, and safety regulations. Implement strategies to drive sales and attract customers. Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve any issues or complaints. Manage budgeting and cost control for the business. Develop and execute promotional campaigns to increase business across all departments. Stock management for the bottleshop and bistro. Weekend and public holiday work will be required. Skills and Experience Required: Proven experience in Bar & Bottleshop management or in a similar leadership role. Minimum 3-4 years of hospitality management experience required. Strong understanding of licensing laws, hospitality regulations, and compliance. Current RSA & RCG required. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team. Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control. Passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive guest experience. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Hours would be between 30 hours a week to full-time depending on the candidate. Australian citizenship is required for this position.
