Your role with us: You’ll be the driving force behind animated assets that elevate our games. Around 70% of your time will focus on crafting smooth, engaging animations in Spine, while the rest involves illustration tasks such as underpainting, layout adjustments and small asset creation. Working closely with the Head of Studio, you’ll ensure every asset is polished, production-ready and delivered with precision. What you will do Animate high-quality 2D assets in Spine that align with the game’s creative direction and technical requirements. Prepare, clean up and adapt outsourced artwork for animation (e.g., separating layers, underpainting, touch‑ups, small asset creation). Organise PSD files and Spine projects with clear structure, naming conventions and export settings for efficient implementation. Work closely with the Head of Studio to ensure assets are optimised for performance and consistent with briefs. Adapt to different art styles and integrate assets seamlessly into the game’s look and feel. Maintain a practical approach, balancing visual quality with production needs. What you will bring Strong proficiency in Spine 2D animation or similar. Solid understanding of animation principles (timing, anticipation, squash and stretch, easing). Proficiency in Photoshop (or equivalent) for asset preparation, underpainting and minor illustration work. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow briefs. Ability to adapt to different art styles and pipelines. Bonus points if you also have Experience with After Effects or VFX/2D frame by frame animation. Understanding of version control (Git, Perforce, or similar). Ability to learn quickly and adapt to workflows. Gambling and cryptocurrency knowledge.
