Technical Project Engineer

As our Technical Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering comprehensive and technically sound electrical solutions to our customers. Your impact? You will ensure that projects are executed flawlessly from the initial tendering phase through to final installation and training. You'll collaborate with customers, contractors, and internal teams, taking ownership of the entire technical project lifecycle—from electrical calculations and equipment selection to project scheduling and customer training. What You’ll Be Doing Technical Design and Specification: review electrical specifications, perform necessary calculations (such as harmonics and motor loading), and select the correct equipment to meet project needs. Tendering and Sales Support: create and submit tender responses and work with customers to ensure technical specifications are understood and met. Project Management and Execution: manage project schedules, define scopes of work, order equipment, and coordinate shipments to ensure projects are delivered on time. Customer Relations and Technical Representation: attend customer meetings as a technical expert and serve as a key point of contact for clients. Quality Assurance and Training: complete quality assurance reports after project completion and develop and deliver technical training programs for customers. What We're Looking For Technical Expertise: strong preference for knowledge and experience with VSDs and their application; a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is also required. Project Management: proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management, and an understanding of the tendering process. Customer-Focused Solutions: experience in delivering solutions tailored to customer needs, demonstrating a strong ability to understand and meet client requirements. Communication and Teamwork: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
