ROLE OVERVIEW As a Senior Management Accountant in our dynamic company, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of accounting tasks, from financial reporting to tax compliance. Given our developing nature, you will be the sole accountant on our team, requiring versatility and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Reporting Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Support Senior Management team. Prepare forecasts and budgets. Review projects on Salesforce. Ensure compliance with Vietnamese and Australian accounting standards and regulations. Supporting with project budgets and accounting. Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits. Accounts Payable/Receivable Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor invoices, customer invoices, and bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely payments and collections. General Ledger Maintenance. Record journal entries for various transactions, including revenue, expenses, and adjustments. Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Tax Compliance Prepare corporate tax returns and other tax filings. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/APTITUDES NEEDED: Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting Strong knowledge of Vietnamese and Australian accounting standards and regulations Proficiency in accounting software – MISA online Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Fluency in English (written and spoken) Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously SALARY AND BENEFITS: Competitive Salary Annual Discretionary Company Bonus – up to 8% - 3% Company & 5% Individual You will accrue up to four (4) weeks of annual leave each year in accordance with the Fair Work Act (pro rata for part time employees) Working hours will be from 09.00 to 17.30 with an hour taken for lunch usually between 12.00 and 14.00 (Working hours will vary depending on the client and relevant time zones Interstate travel will be required for this role #J-18808-Ljbffr
