Senior Policy Officer - Business Viability The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners – East Melbourne VIC $104,700 + super + salary packaging options of up to $15,900 for living expenses (under RACGP’s health promotion charity status) Full-time (1.0 FTE), permanent contract East Melbourne office near Jolimont Station / WFH options available About the role The Senior Policy Officer supports the Lead, Business Viability to develop policies, resources and strategies that strengthen general practice sustainability. The role manages research and data analytics, stakeholder engagement and advisory materials, working closely with internal teams, committees and external health sector partners. As our Senior Policy Officer - Business Viability , you’ll also: Analyse emerging issues and funding reforms to inform evidence-based recommendations for general practice viability. Develop and update policies, submissions, tools and guidelines that support sustainable GP-led care. Coordinate and deliver workshops, webinars and resources to build business capability across general practices. Provide strategic advice and secretariat support to RACGP committees, working groups and senior stakeholders.
