The Opportunity As part of the Exploration team reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist I will support exploration activities and complete project work that furthers geological understanding and exploration success in near‑mine and regional environments. The role requires remote camp work up to three hours’ drive from the mine for up to eight days at a time. This permanent role is on an 8/6 FIFO roster based in Perth or Kalgoorlie. Accountabilities Adhere to all safety procedures and work safely at all times. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with all contractors and colleagues. Supervise drilling activities independently, ensuring safety, environmental compliance and sample QA/QC. Manage and supervise on‑ground contractors, drill crews, downhole surveyors and laboratory QA/QC. Perform high quality geological logging of aircore, RC and diamond core. Complete assigned project work including geological interpretation, 3D modelling, targeting and drill hole planning. Assist in maintaining and ensuring the integrity of the exploration database. Provide mentoring and training to graduate geologists and field technicians. About You Strong enthusiasm for geology and discovery. Relevant tertiary or postgraduate degree in geology. Over 2 years’ experience as an exploration, resource development or mine geologist. Excellent geological interpretation skills. Experience using GIS and 3D modelling software. Knowledge of QA/QC practices. Current C‑class manual driver’s licence, preferably with 4WD experience. Permanent work rights in Australia.
