Join one of Australia's fastest-growing asphalt and spray seal companies Austek Roads is expanding its services into ACT and we’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Hume. We deliver high-quality asphalt surfacing, patching, and civil projects across the ACT and surrounding regions, with a strong reputation for reliability, performance, and customer service. About the Role As a Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with our Operations Manager and Project Managers to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You’ll play a key role in project planning, quality control, cost tracking, and on-site coordination. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and delivery Managing site documentation, ITPs, quality assurance, and reporting Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers Monitoring budgets, quantities, and progress Supporting field crews to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity About You We’re looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about civil construction. You’ll have a practical mindset and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment. To be successful, you’ll ideally have: Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering 1–5 years’ experience in civil or asphalt construction Strong understanding of construction processes and safety principles Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic project management tools Why Join Austek Roads?
