Join us and be a part of DSV’s global family. DSVAir & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate VAL Operator Specialist in Sydney. The Specialist is responsible for managing both specialized white glove delivery services for high-tech and sensitive commodities and core warehouse logistics operations. This includes overseeing compliance with SOPs, KPIs, and QHSE standards, while also ensuring smooth inbound, outbound, inventory, and trucking coordination. The role combines strategic oversight with operational execution, bridging field supervision, stakeholder engagement, and administrative excellence. Responsibilities Oversee white glove deliveries, ensuring SOP/KPI and QHSE compliance. Manage warehouse operations: inbound, outbound, inventory, and trucking. Guide coordinators and ensure accurate documentation and reporting. Act as the main contact for clients, site staff, and providers. Prepare and audit operational documents and incident records. Drive process improvements and mentor team members. Qualifications Solid experience in logistics, managing delivery, and warehouse operations—ideally with high-tech or sensitive goods. Strong knowledge of QHSE standards and compliance frameworks. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, customer service, and issue resolution. Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on documentation accuracy and process improvement.
