The Y NSW Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia Regional Manager – Children Services The Y NSW is seeking a Regional Manager, Children’s Services to lead and inspire teams across Early Learning Centres, Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), and Vacation Care services. Our Children’s Services Team are passionate educators and leaders who create safe, engaging environments for young minds to learn, grow, and thrive. Across 40 NSW schools, our OSHC Educators and Coordinators deliver enriching before‑and after‑school care, packed with creativity, play, and learning. Every day, our team runs programmes that include sport, creative arts, cooking, and more—working closely with children, families, and schools to support development in a healthy, inclusive environment. We are looking for a dynamic leader passionate about delivering high‑quality education and care services for children. The pivotal role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and financial sustainability across a designated region. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and other Regional Managers, driving continuous improvement and safeguarding outcomes for children and young people. Key Responsibilities Lead multi‑site operations to deliver safe, high‑quality, and compliant services Mentor and coach Coordinators to uplift service delivery and team performance Ensure all services meet or exceed National Quality Standards (NQS) Manage budgets and drive financial performance across sites Build strong relationships with school principals, P&Cs, and community stakeholders Champion child safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding practices Collaborate with internal teams including HR, finance, risk, and marketing What You’ll Bring Minimum 3+ years’ leadership experience in Children’s Services or a related field Proven success in multi‑site management and team development Strong knowledge of the National Law, Regulations, NQF, MTOP, and EYLF Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection (CHCPRT001/025) Valid NSW Working with Children Check and Driver’s Licence Desirable: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care Our Values SAFE – We create the safest spaces CONNECT – We are better together THRIVE – We bring our best Why Join Us?
