Mechanical Engineer

Precise Air Construction is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) to join our Construction Team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in leading and delivering high-quality mechanical design projects while driving technical excellence across the team. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage design projects from initiation to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors for seamless design-to-construction integration. Conduct design reviews and provide value-engineering solutions. Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and preparation of handover documentation. Maintain strong communication with clients throughout project lifecycles. Attend site and client meetings to resolve design challenges. Promote the company through technical expertise and client engagement. Conduct system calculations, audits, and technical reviews. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and legislation. Provide technical input for tenders, including site inspections and budget estimates. Mentor and support team members, fostering a positive and collaborative culture. Contribute to training and development initiatives within the construction team. Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 8 years' experience delivering mechanical design projects. CPEng / NER registration. Strong background in Health, Education, Residential, and Commercial projects. Proven expertise in leading mechanical design from initiation to completion. Excellent knowledge of construction processes and engineering standards. Strong communication and leadership skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
