EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER Full Time – 38 Hours + Reasonable OvertimeLocation: Monash / Clayton GIAN Hospitality Australia is seeking an experienced and driven Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operations at a 250-room hotel located in the Monash/Clayton precinct . This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing all room operations, quality standards, and team performance within a high‑volume hotel environment. About the Role You will oversee the entire housekeeping function across a large 250‑room hotel, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and smooth day‑to‑day operations. You’ll manage supervisors and room attendants, maintain high productivity standards, and lead your team to deliver a consistent, premium hotel experience. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and mentor housekeeping supervisors and room attendants. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all hotel rooms and public areas. Oversee daily and weekly rosters to meet occupancy and operational requirements. Conduct weekly room inspections and monthly equipment stocktakes. Monitor and maintain GIAN and hotel quality standards across all areas. Liaise with hotel management to build strong client relationships. Manage performance, recruitment, and training in partnership with HR. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, billing, and labour cost control. Support operations by performing room cleaning when teams are running behind. What We’re Looking For Executive Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeping Supervisor experience in a hotel. Confidence managing high‑volume room operations (100+ rooms ideal; 250 rooms preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced hotel environment. High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence. Flexibility to work varying shifts based on hotel needs. Why Join GIAN Hospitality?
