Embrace a rewarding career and a vibrant lifestyle with us About the role South West Healthcare's (SWH) Physiotherapy Department provides best practice, patient‑centred care to patients and clients across a variety of settings including inpatient wards and community settings. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapists to join our large, vibrant, supportive and passionate team of 23 Physiotherapists, 9 Allied Health Assistants & 2 Exercise Physiologists. This Grade 1 role will work collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary team to undertake assessments and contribute to the clinical planning of individual care for each client and their family, utilising a variety of therapies to achieve client goals. We are a large regional health service with multiple campuses and partnerships to provide therapy onsite at smaller regional health services. The Grade 1 will be exposed to a wide variety of clinical conditions and settings including Intensive Care (ICU), Outpatients and Rehabilitation with diverse learning and career development opportunities, including funding for training and regular supervision in a collaborative, fun and positive team culture. We provide many opportunities for social events and involvement in non‑clinical projects/committees, as well as living in a beautiful part of the world with many outside work activities available, including a regular opt‑in Physio Run Club. Position overview Employment Type: Full time (80 hours per fortnight, with a monthly ADO), Fixed term position Commencing: November 2025 for 12 months Location: Warrnambool Campus Classification: Physiotherapist Grade 1 Salary Range: $70,590.00 – $85,872.80 pro rata, plus superannuation What you bring Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist Experience and skills delivering a broad range of clinical services, including assessment, referral and treatment, to individuals and their families across a variety of settings. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of legislation, regulation and contemporary practice. Both graduating and experienced Physiotherapists are encouraged to apply.
