$560 - $640 per day + super | 35 hours per week NSW State Government | Sydney CBD location ASAP Start | Estimated 6-month assignment, with potential to extend About the role Our client, a NSW Government agency, is seeking a Senior Communications & Engagement Officer to lead strategic communications for the NSW Women in Construction (WIC) Program and support initiatives promoting diversity and participation in the construction sector. You will: Deliver the overarching WIC communications strategy and drive stakeholder engagement Manage media activity including releases, ministerial media plans & positive coverage Develop targeted communications & engagement plans across channels Build strong relationships with stakeholders, industry partners & ministerial offices Plan and deliver events, speaking opportunities, presentations & approvals Create digital content, newsletters, collateral & video assets Maintain and optimise WIC web content Track performance and prepare quarterly reports & award submissions What you’ll bring Qualifications in communications, media, marketing or equivalent Experience delivering complex communications and engagement initiatives Strong media relations and content creation capability Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines Confident stakeholder engagement, including senior executives and government offices Excellent written and verbal communication skills How to Apply Applications will be reviewed within 48 hours of the job posting.
