Overview Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across NSW/ACT and QLD, continuing our 80+ year relationship with the Australian Defence Force. We’re inviting applications to join our permanent workforce in Randwick as an Asset Data Officer. Commencing January 2026, we’re looking for people from all backgrounds who can contribute to Defence capability and join a high-performing, inclusive team. What You’ll Do Managing, validating, and updating asset register data in accordance with Defence requirements. Ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and synchronisation of asset data with Defence systems (e.g., GEMS). Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to verify and integrate asset data for estate works, maintenance, and project delivery. Providing asset data advice and support to project teams and subcontractors. Supporting continuous improvement in asset data management processes and tools. What You’ll Bring Certificate III/IV in Business or Data Management. Asset Management System Training Certification (desirable). Qualifications or experience in Engineering, Maintenance, or Financial Data Management. White Card and site access credentials (desirable). Demonstrated experience in asset data maintenance, administration, or database management.
