We are a seven day a week entertainment venue with a range of racing and non-racing offerings including dining facilities, large function & conference rooms, 41 room four-star hotel, busy gaming lounge and sports bar & TAB. THE OPPORTUNITY Only candidates with relevant experience will be considered As a Commis Chef you will assist with leading our team towards excellence in customer service and dining including - Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive service while supporting fellow Colleagues Prepare and service all food items for a la carte and function menus according to Melton Entertainment Park recipes and standards. Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions in daily shift briefings Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features and promotions Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food Other duties as assigned CUSTOMER SERVICE Deliver excellent customer service by demonstrating Melton Entertainment Park service and performance standards applicable to the kitchen. TEAMWORK Build effective work relationships. Work cooperatively with team members, assist others, contribute to team performance and demonstrate support for Tabcorp Park’s commitment to a harassment free workplace.
