Overview Engineer | Mechanical (Brisbane) role at ADP Consulting. You will be responsible for the design and documentation of mechanical services, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), mechanical ventilation, and other building services systems, guiding projects from concept through to construction. You will collaborate with architects, project managers, builders, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated and innovative design solutions. Your work will ensure compliance with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and local authority requirements. You will conduct site inspections, coordinate with contractors during construction, and contribute to energy-efficient and sustainable design strategies. You will engage directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored mechanical solutions that meet performance and regulatory requirements. Experience: preferably 3-4 years of mechanical engineering experience within the Australian Building Services industry, with demonstrated expertise in delivering projects from early concept design through to construction completion. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical services design, load calculations, energy efficiency principles, and an in-depth understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills, clear communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative, proactive approach to project delivery.
