Sterilisation Technician

Overview As a Sterilisation Technician you will work behind the scenes to ensure every instrument meets the highest standards of cleanliness and care. Your expertise will directly contribute to better health outcomes and a safer hospital environment. Responsibilities Operate the sterilisation process for reusable medical devices & equipment in accordance with AS5369:2023. Work independently under general supervision, following instructions and maintaining a high level of work ethics. Collaborate with perioperative teams, demonstrating awareness of tracking and traceability systems and Fast Track procedures. Identify and manage complex reusable medical devices within a Sterilising Services team. Qualifications Certificate III in Sterilisation (or equivalent). Experience working within a Sterilising Services department in a perioperative setting. Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends & public holidays.
