We foster a safe, inclusive and constructive place to work. About The Role This is a Fixed Term Position for 12 months*. Key Selection Criteria The Senior Project Manager – Workplace Projects leads the delivery of a diverse range of projects across DTP workplaces, including construction, environmental initiatives, relocations and building compliance works. The role ensures all projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality and governance standards, working closely with other government departments and stakeholders. Position Accountabilities In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning and implementation of workplace projects that enhance DTP’s operational performance and service delivery. You will develop high-quality briefs on complex issues, provide clear and practical options for decision‑makers, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time and within scope. Representing the Department, you will engage with internal clients, delivery partners and external stakeholders, using strong negotiation and influencing skills to secure commitment and alignment across all parties. Qualifications and Experience Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant experience in a similar role. Property, project or facilities management experience in a government context. Extensive project management experience within a government or large, complex organisation, with strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
