Senior Data Engineer – Delivery & Team Lead (Consulting) Job Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Employment Type: Full-time Salary: A$170,000.00–A$190,000.00 Qualifications 7 years of proven experience as Software Engineer or similar role. Strong hands‑on experience with Ab Initio GDE (Express It, Control Centre, Continuous flow). Experience with XML, JSON, Web API. Strong hands‑on experience in SQL. Hands‑on experience in any shell scripting language. Experience with batch and streaming based integrations. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus, Jenkins, SonarQube. Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, RDS and others. Knowledge of Snowflake and Apache Kafka is highly desirable. Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Packer, Terraform.
