About the RoleThis executive position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and business development skills to navigate market changes, leverage growth opportunities, and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
This role will be classified as an Accountable Person under section 21 of the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) Act 2023 from March 2025. Specific obligations as an accountable person will be outlined in an "Accountability Statement" which can be shared on a confidential basis in due course.
Your key responsibilities will include:Acting as a member of the ANZ executive leadership team and the APAC Corporate Solutions executive leadership teamTaking charge of guiding the Corporate Solutions leadership team to achieve their goals and support the execution of corporate strategyDeveloping and implementing strategic plans for the ANZ Corporate Solutions businessMaintaining strategic dialogues with key decision-makers and broker partnersEnhancing the market share and profitability of the Corporate Solutions businessLeading business development to foster new opportunities and maintain profitable growthManaging the Customer and Distribution Management (CDM) teamInspiring and engaging the ANZ team, promoting open communication and idea exchangeAdvocating for Swiss Re's values and leadership imperativesRepresenting Swiss Re in the Australian market to external contacts
About YouProven experience in insurance or financial servicesStrong business acumen and a successful track record of leading high-performing teamsPossess a deep understanding of insurance markets and productsAble to leverage a broad industry network including key stakeholders (brokers, corporate risk managers, insurance professionals)Expertise in business development, negotiation, and delivering outstanding resultsAbility to navigate ambiguity and complex situations effectivelyStrong track record of developing and executing strategies and plans within a high-performance business cultureActing as a strong coach, motivator and mentor to drive the team's successUniversity or Post Graduate Degree or equivalent with a strong business component preferred
