Refrigeration Mechanic – Longreach We’re seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our Longreach depot in this iconic outback town, known for its rich history and strong community spirit, where you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems in schools, public buildings, and housing facilities. Your work will be vital in ensuring comfortable and functional environments for the local community. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems in schools, public buildings, and housing facilities. Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with relevant standards. Use digital tools, including email and diagnostic software, to manage work orders and communication. Mentor apprentices and share technical knowledge. Requirements Valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualification (Certificate III in Air‑Conditioning and Refrigeration). Strong diagnostic and repair skills with a focus on quality workmanship. Willingness to use digital tools. Passion for mentoring apprentices and passing on skills. Eligibility to work in Australia.
