National Director – External Affairs & Engagement The National Director – External Affairs & Engagement reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the external affairs & engagement outputs of Master Builders Australia. The role covers Media, Campaigns, Corporate Affairs Communications, Events, Partnership and Corporate Subscription programs, Grant Programs, and works with the CEO and National Director – Policy & Legal in government relations advocacy. Responsibilities Lead a team of 6 direct reports and oversee third‑party service providers to deliver external affairs & engagement outcomes. Develop and implement media, campaigns, communications, events, partnership and subscription programs, and grant initiatives. Collaborate with the CEO and Policy & Legal director on government relations advocacy. Qualifications Minimum 15 years of external affairs experience, including successful delivery of campaigns, programmes and/or events. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams. Based in Canberra. Location Canberra, Australia.
