The Role Are you passionate about HR and administrative support? Do you thrive in a dynamic work environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you Our government client is seeking a part‑time HR Coordinator to join their People & Culture team. As an HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of generalist People & Culture activities, administration, and systems support. The role is an initial contract until the end of September 2023 with possible extensions. Responsibilities Assist with the day‑to‑day operations of the People & Culture team, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of services. Provide administrative support for various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records maintenance, and performance management. Assist with HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency. Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR‑related matters. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to facilitate the timely resolution of HR‑related issues. Requirements Proven experience in an HR coordination or similar role. Organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Immediate start - preferred. Previous experience in the public sector or government organisations - preferred. Victorian Government policies require all candidate to have two doses of COVID vaccine plus the booster as per ATAGI guidelines.
