Cardinia Leisure are currently recruiting Swim Teachers. Swim teachers are based at Cardinia Life but will sometimes be required to work at our other aquatic facilities across Cardinia. Swim Teachers will be responsible for the delivery of safe, productive, innovative, and exceptional swimming lessons by maintaining a solid understanding of the Swim and Survive program, industry developments and the OH&S guidelines applicable to the facility. Swim Teachers will continuously display their ability to communicate and engage effectively with students ensuring students of all abilities, ages and cultural needs receive an outstanding program and will work relentlessly to maximise student retention opportunities. They will take pride in operating such an important community asset and ensure it is presented immaculately and always maintained to the highest standards. Don't have the required qualifications? ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Relevant industry experience is advantageous Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Qualification or willing to obtain Teacher of Infants and Toddler Qualification (Desirable but not required) The successful applicant must hold or be willing to attain first aid and CPR qualifications and working with children check.
