Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic Service of The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) in a new part-time fixed term role as a Endocrine Clinical Nurse ConsultantWork alongside acute and ambulatory teams to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of complex endocrine disordersCoordinate a range of specialised hormone blood tests for patients with less common endocrine disorders including pituitary, adrenal and thyroid disordersAssist with coordinating and growing the Endocrine Service for day admissions for endocrine dynamic investigationsIn return, you will be supported with ongoing training and opportunities for career developmentAbout you:We are seeking a dynamic and passionate nurse to assist our Diabetes and Endocrinology team to further develop a service to coordinate and perform Endocrine Dynamic Investigations to diagnose and treat Endocrine DisordersTertiary qualifications in Nursing and Current Division 1 Nurse RegistrationKnowledge and experience in public hospital ambulatory care processes Knowledge and experience in clinical auditingExperience in working with teams (including multidisciplinary teams)Excellent communications skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and primary careExperience in conducting clinical auditsClinical experience in Diabetes and Endocrinology practiceExperience working in telehealthBenefits of working with the Royal Melbourne HospitalCareer progression opportunities to suit your professional development goals.Enjoy excellent work-life balance working in a supportive and collaborative teamSalary packaging, onsite car parking and, close to public transport.The RMH is proud to be a workplace that champions diversity, inclusion and equality for our staff and our community.
