Senior Tier 3 Technical Support Engineer - Australia At Infinidat, we help enterprises and service providers empower their data‑driven competitive advantage at scale. We are looking for an experienced, passionate and talented individual with excellent problem‑solving and communication skills to join our Enterprise Storage Technical Support. Responsibilities Provide technical assistance and support for the most complex field issues. Provide proactive recommendations to customers for improving their use of Infinidat storage solutions and help maximize satisfaction. Diagnose technical field issues down to the root cause. Represent Infinidat in a professional manner to customers and partners. Actively contribute to the configuration, layout, and management of Infinidat products. Work directly with development teams for problem resolution. Provide assistance to Infinidat technical teams in the development of custom solutions and implementation preparation. Qualifications / Requirements Advanced Linux system administration skills (installation, administration, troubleshooting, upgrade). TCP/IP networking knowledge. Knowledge of SAN and NAS storage. Experience scripting in bash, Python or similar. Strong technical knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies (advantage). Experience with containers/docker (advantage). VCE certification (advantage). Backup administration expertise (advantage). Previous Tier 3/4 support experience (advantage). Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently. Excellent communication of issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization and customers. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Ability to multi‑task. Residency/citizenship in Australia. Willingness to work weekends and holidays when needed.
