About the Role We’re seeking dedicated Female Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team in South Wentworthville. In this role, you’ll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You’ll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives. Key Responsibilities Deliver active support aligned with each client’s goals and support plan(s) Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing) Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records Work collaboratively within a close-knit team Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines Schedule Shifts: active night & sleepover shifts as well as weekends and public holidays. The exact times vary by week; a summary is provided below. Monday: 6:00–9:30 (SIL308) 3.5h Tuesday: 6:00–9:30 (SIL308) 3.5h Wednesday: 6:00–9:30 (SIL308) 3.5h Thursday: 6:00–9:30 (SIL308) 3.5h Friday: 6:00–9:30 (SIL308) 3.5h Saturday: 6:00–10:00 (SIL308) 4h Sunday: 6:00–2:00PM (SIL308) 8h Week 1 total hours: 19h. Week 2 follows the same pattern with Friday and Sunday hours adjusted to 8h each, bringing the week 2 total to 26.5h.
