The Claims Administrator is a face paced role where you will act as the first contact to the insured and insurance division. The Claim Administrator has the important responsibility of quickly coordinating new claims and determining whether the insureds property is safe or requires attendance by a specialist to secure and ensuring the claim is progressing in a timely manner to avoid any unnecessary delays which may impart our KPIs. Responsibilities Front of house contact dealing with or directing inbound emails / calls as required First point of insurer contact from receipt of new claim Create new jobs and commence the new job workflow Regular review of the claims to ensure each system is updated with the most appropriate notes for the relevant claim stage. Following up with the insurer and actioning what is required to ensure the claim is progressing Maintaining claim files to ensure all relevant documentation is attached to both ours and the insurers system and they are filed neatly Escalation of to Admin Manager if issues are unresolved and stakeholders dissatisfied for any reason Actioning emails in the general insurance inbox as required in a timely manner Submitting all claim related documentation to the insurer in a timely manner to meet KPI timeframes Complete and submit relevant invoicing to the insurer Champion a culture within the team that promotes strong collaboration and support for each other resulting in a collective effort to meet insurer KPIs Execute other responsibilities as directed by the business Role Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in administration is preferable Minimum 1 year experience in building and construction sector preferable Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Lead by example always be supportive of team members Strong influencing skills and ability to prioritise competing demands Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to deeskalate situations Ability to multitask and manage multiple work streams during times of high pressure Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders Be open minded and willing to be challenged Contact for more information.
