About the Position PICEDF is currently seeking a Program Manager to join the team. The primary objective of the position is to drive performance and compliance in the delivery of the Remote Australia Employment Services (RAES) program. It is expected the scope of the role, and programs it is responsible for, will develop and grow overtime. Responsibilities Effectively manage and stay abreast of the RAES contract issued by NIAA as amended and extended from time to time ensuring contractual compliance is maintained while program delivery objectives/outcomes are met, and maximum funding under the program is received. In consultation with the CEO and Finance, develop, monitor and review RAES and Community Project Plan budgets. Achieve employment and training outcome targets, effectively contributing to the overall performance goals of the program and the organisation. Operationalise NIAA Case Management guidelines to achieve meaningful outcomes for participants and exceed program KPIs. Ensure the participant’s Job Plans are negotiated with the job seeker to maintain a high level of job seeker engagement and contact, motivating disadvantaged and disengaged job seekers to participate in activities that lead to sustainable employment outcomes. This is a full-time permanent position, working 38 hours per week. This position is based on Palm Island. Skills and Experience A Current Working with Children Blue Card & National Police Check. A relevant 4-year bachelor’s degree with substantial experience or lesser qualifications with significant relevant experience, expertise and competence. Ability to accurately analyse, interpret and comply with complex contractual requirements and guidelines. Ability to time manage, set priorities and to achieve outcomes as an individual and as a team leader. Excellent budgeting, reporting and project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade people from a broad demographic. Ability to develop and maintain relationships within a culturally sensitive environment and show compassion and understanding to the local indigenous community.
