About the opportunity The Head of Finance & Business Partnering will focus on delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting operational decision-making through clear analysis. You will be responsible for managing finance operations, reviewing outputs from offshore teams, and preparing reliable management reports for stakeholders. This role involves working closely with the GM SBS, Group Finance teams, and business leaders to ensure compliance, maintain process efficiency, and provide practical financial insights across our insurance portfolios. Key Responsibilities Lead the business partnering function to provide strategic financial insights and advise to executives and business unit leaders. Deliver high-quality performance reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis to support decision-making. Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Distribution, Technology, and Risk teams. Oversee annual planning and quarterly forecasting and long-range strategic planning. Support the business growth and surrounding team. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA is required. 5-10 years of progressive finance experience, including 4–6 years in leadership within a shared services or business partnering environment. Strong understanding of insurance industry financial operations, including claims, policy administration, and regulatory reporting. Proven success in managing complex financial processes and driving improvements in shared services. Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and leveraging technology for process optimisation. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset. Knowledge of internal controls and financial compliance frameworks.
